today was a busy day for my family..my cuzzin just got engaged and today the family was busy attending to various long distance cousins and family and friends to celebrate it. it was great. my cuzzin, sent plenty of things over to his future bride's house a sign. it was a massive spread. i'd upload the pics later but there was cakes, pastries shaped like freaking crabs, jello that was made to look like a boat, chocolate bouquets, oh man..i could have made a diabetic guy faint just by looking at the gifts. i had the honour of carrying the crab-loking pastries. then, onto the coach we went and off to the bride-to-be's home.

it was pretty cool that they both lived in yishun, so the travielling didn't take too much time. we got there, presented the gifts and left the elders to exchange words. an hour passed and the kiddies were allowed in once again. we were welcomed by a glorious spread of food..OH FREAKING YEAH!!..

i didn't gorge mind you..it was more of a controlled massive devouring technique..nah..JUST KIDDING..but the food was good..the elders spoke again and this time, the bride's side gave us gifts..their's wasn't as big or elaborate as ours but it was the thought that counted..

they gave us various things..jello in the shape of a boat, a nice luscious hot fudge chocolate cake..i mean this stuff was legendary..looking at the cake already made your arteries want to pop..OH MY GOD!!..back to the gifts..and also there was this diamond encrusted marc ecko watch. phew..pockets are empty now i guess..

back at my cuzzin's house, the family systematically divided the foods and distributed it..i got a taste of the cake..just a tiny finger sized taste..and i already had a sugar rush..whoa..no more food for me thank you...haha..another congrats to my cuzzin and thats it for this entry.
